This handsome fellow was trotting down the middle of the road as I was driving my bus today. By the time I pulled over and extracted my camera from my bag he had reached the safety of a nearby yard. (There was no one on the bus, but shhh! I'm not supposed to use my camera on the job.) Horrible photo, but he was moving so I didn't have time to make it good. This is the only kind of shot I will ever take at a deer, I sincerely hope. It's bow hunting season at the moment, but this beauty was heading into town, so I'm thinking he's safe, from hunters at least.
